How our jewellery comes to you

Each and every item of jewellery will be carefully checked, polished if necessary and then supplied in its own black gift box, black velvet pouch/bag or organza gift bag so your purchases will be perfectly protected. To further ensure that your goods arrive in perfect condition each order is carefully packed with plenty of new packing material and either shipped in a box or jiffy bag whichever is most applicable.

Shipping Calculation

UK customers - UK Standard First Class postage is free. If you wish to upgrade to First Class Recorded or Special Delivery this option is available at the Checkout for an additional cost.
European and International Customers - Delivery rates are dependant on location and do not include import taxes or duties which maybe levied by your country's Customs.

Explanation of Postal Rates and Liability

We offer the following options for postage:

Domestic UK Standard First Class - This is not a signed for service and no compensation is offered for loss or damage in transit with regard to jewellery items. Other items are covered up to a value of £34.00. If you select this service we will obtain a proof of posting for each order.

Domestic UK First Class Recorded - This is a signed for service but it does not offer compensation for loss or damage in transit for jewellery items. Other items are covered up to a value of £34.00. Many of our customers select this option as a semi-secure, cost effective form of delivery.

Domestic UK Next Day Special Delivery - This is the RECOMMENDED postal service for jewellery. It guarantees delivery to 99% of the UK by 1.00pm the next working day after despatch or your money back. Compensation for actual loss of up to £500 is included in the price.


Liability - If you select a delivery option which does not offer a signed for service then you do so at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for orders lost, delayed or damaged if you use UK First Class, Europe Airmail or Rest Of The World Airmail. In all instances a Proof of Posting will be obtained. We will be more than happy to assist in any claim against Royal Mail for lost, damaged or delayed orders and will make available to you the Proof of Posting Certificate for the claim.

 

If you select a signed for service, i.e. UK First Class Recorded, UK Special Delivery, Europe Signed For and Rest Of World Signed For we will accept responsibility for lost, delayed or damaged orders and will make arrangements for your order to be replaced or refunded whichever is most applicable.

Payment

For UK customers we prefer payment via PayPal but are also happy to accept payment by personal cheque or crossed Postal Order. In the case of personal cheques items will be despatched once the cheque has cleared usually 7 days. Orders paid for by crossed Postal Order will be despatched on receipt. Please make cheques/crossed Postal Orders payable to Peanuts Kabin, and send to Peanuts Kabin, PO Box 3347, Littlehampton, West Sussex BN16 9FX.

For International customers payment via PayPal only and payment must be made in GBP/Sterling. Please note that any import duties and/or taxes levied by your own country's customs department are payable separately by you.

Despatch

All items displayed on our website are available from stock and will be despatched next working day following cleared payment. If this is not possible for any reason we will contact you and let you know. Please note PayPal orders paid for after 5.30pm will not be processed until the next working day.  We despatch orders Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays.

Returns

In the event that the item is faulty we are happy to accept returns within seven days of receipt, providing you have contacted us in the first instance to discuss the problem. Items should be returned unworn and unused with the original packaging via Recorded Delivery or International Signed For service. Regretfully, for hygiene reasons earrings are non-returnable (unless they form part of a set).
